Altery cards are not supported in certain countries. Card authorization attempts made in these countries are declined.
This restriction applies at the authorization level: if a cardholder attempts to use an Altery card in one of the countries listed below, the authorization will be declined.
Forbidden Countries
Altery cards do not work in the following countries:
- Afghanistan
- Belarus
- Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Burundi
- Central African Republic
- Democratic Republic of the Congo
- Côte d'Ivoire
- Cuba
- Eritrea
- Ethiopia
- Guatemala
- Guinea
- Guinea-Bissau
- Haiti
- Iran
- Iraq
- North Korea (DPRK)
- Lebanon
- Libya
- Mali
- Myanmar (Burma)
- Nicaragua
- Russia
- Somalia
- South Sudan
- Sudan
- Syria
- Tunisia
- Venezuela
- Yemen
- Zimbabwe
