Introduction

The following documentation describes the format of interaction between Altery systems and partners via API. It is applicable to any Altery client who wish to use Altery API for sending payments.

These instructions should be used by API integrators and integrators’ representatives involved with the deployment and management of Altery API on the integrator’s side. It should also be read by any third-party companies who will interface with Altery API on behalf of the API integrator.

Environments

The Altery API is available in two environments:

Sandbox — for testing and validation
Production — for live payment processing

Partners are strongly encouraged to complete full testing in the Sandbox environment before moving to Production.

Integration Approach

The API is designed for automated system-to-system integration.

All operations should be implemented using secure request signing and environment-specific configuration.

To proceed with the integration, please complete the following steps:

Acquire access to the web portal.
Generate a new API key.
Implement the required request signing mechanism for all API requests.

Upon successful completion of these steps, your system will be properly configured for secure integration with the Altery Payments System.
